Shot entirely in Tucson, LIGHTBULB is based on a true story. A small time
inventor and a fast-talking salesman endure a series of mishaps and failed
inventions before coming up with a product that becomes a worldwide
phenomenon. Along the way, they learn how to overcome hard times with
hope and humor.
LIGHTBULB features Dallas Roberts (“I Walk The Line”, “3:10 To Yuma”),
Jeremy Renner (“The Assassination of Jesse James”, “The Hurt Locker”), and
Ayelet Zurer (“Munich”, “Angels and Demons”).
LIGHTBULB is directed by Jeff Balsmeyer whose first feature, DANNY
DECKCHAIR, opened to rave reviews and was the closing night film at the
Toronto Film Festival.
